I run in honor and memory of so many friends and loved ones who inspire me each and every day with their attitude, strength and perseverance. And I also run for the 1,500 people who will hear the words “You have cancer.” today and the 1,500 who will be diagnosed tomorrow and the day after….
Each mile I surpass means hope for someone who is diagnosed. Hope in the form of tangible services that provides help today - free confidential one-on-one support and access to services including dealing with insurance challenges, fertility preservation, emotional support, treatment concerns and clinical trials.
To quote C.S. Lewis, “You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.” I’ve set a goal (and dream!) of raising $10,000 and I am asking for your help. Each day I hear stories from those directly impacted by this disease and I will continue to work (and run!) tirelessly on their behalf each and every day.
For Kate, Grandma, Dan, Jack, Randi, and Michael and for my friends and loved ones that are fighting today, please consider making a donation so that no one has to face a cancer diagnosis alone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
